Milani One Coat Glitter in 551 Lavender Fizz

I just love purple polishes!! Purple glitter? All the better!!

This polish is very very pretty. It needed 2 coats and was perfect. I used Sally Hansen 30 sec quick dry 2 coats and it was perfectly smooth!!

I've been looking forward to wearing this but I really wanted to try one of my new liquid sand polishes this week. But for my birthday I got the new iPhone 5 and a very pretty purple glitter case and I new this would match perfect so I has to put the liquid sand away and match my phone for the week :-)

A few pictures are my nails on my phone case. It's a little blurring but I had to take the picture with the reflection from my bathroom mirror.

Before I take this off I want to see how it looks with a matte top coat. Matte pictures will be at the bottom. Can't wait to see what it's gonna look it!!

Oh I also threw in some blurry shots to see the sparkle and a few with my flash. It made the polish and completely different color but you can see the bigger glitter better and I just thought it was neat! Lol

Lots of pictures I went over board haha sorry guys but I just love nail polish pictures! Some of these were taken right before I was ready to take them off. With my Sally 30 sec dream it lasted a long time but I do have crazy nail growth and a few thinning areas :-D there's also some photos before clean up :-) I didn't do to bad. I'm real bad with dark polish! It gets everywhere hehe .... On to the pictures!!!

Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure Mermaid tale.

3 weeks ago I got the flu. 2 weeks ago I was in the ER being told I have walking pneumonia in both lungs. I went and spent the week at my parents house since the last time I got pneumonia I had it for 2 months. Didn't want that happening again so I took a week off from my place to heal. My mother took me out and got me a few nail polishes (cant get better with some presents haha I blame my grandma for that one)

One of the polishes my mom got for me was the new Sally Hansen Salon Manicure in mermaids tale. This polish is very pretty and looks like it might be a dupe for Deborah Lippmann's Across The Universe. I personal think this polish may be prettier then all the swatches I have seen of ATU.

I took these in many diff light settings. And before I took it off I put a coat of NY in a NY minute Matte topcoat. Normally I think any glitter is prettier mattifide however in this case the layers of depth from a glossy top coat is so pretty. And even though in matte is nice you can I lt see the topcoat for glitter. With my glossy Sally Hansen Quick Dry Shine you could see glitter from each layer I put on.

This is four coats of Mermaids Tale and two coats of SH fast dry shine on top of my base coat trio.

I got complement on this polish EVERYWHERE I went. Which wasn't a lot since I was stuck in sick. Even peeling this polish seemed to catch everyone's eye. This is one of my favorite colors now.

I read that a lot of people didn't like this because if how many coat is needed and without a bunch of coats in looks very very odd on. But I must say this was a conversation starter everywhere I went and once all four layers were on it was just simply stunning. What do you guess think?
